Travel is better with friends, especially those who share your interests. We went up to stay in Akron to view the total eclipse and took the opportunity to travel around the city and take in the beautiful buildings.

Photograph of the sun at totality during the 8 April 2024 eclipse, as seen from Cuyahoga National Park. The small red features at bottom and right are called ‘prominences’: massive, long-lived plasma structures on the surface of the sun.
