Warm, filling, and satisfying. It’s the applewood smoked bacon that seals the deal.

Ingredients:

  • 3 bunches collard greens
  • yellow onion
  • garlic
  • applewood smoked bacon
  • stock (medium jar)
  • badia collard green seasoning
  • apple cider vinegar

Instructions:

  1. In a large stockpot, cook bacon and then remove. Remove excess fat and set aside.
  2. Cook onion until translucent, add garlic.
  3. Deglaze with stock.
  4. Return bacon and some of the grease to pan. Store additional grease for other uses.
  5. Add collard greens, spices, vinegar.
  6. Cook covered 1.5 hours.
